Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara. I finalized my Biology B.A. in the Fall of 2022 through the College of Creative Studies, focusing on Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology. Alongside my degree, I completed minors in Statistics and Professional Writing for Science Communication.

My research at UCSB mainly focused on marine invertebrate aquaculture and fisheries. I am also very interested in ecophysiology, behavioral ecology, and invasion biology. I am currently applying to graduate school to pursue a M.S. in one of these fields.

In addition to studying biology, I am passionate about communicating the science I have learned to the public. This website is dedicated to showcasing my work in science communication during my time at UCSB and for the Professional Writing Minor in Science Communication.
